We are in need of beer for our “99 bottles of beer on the wall.” In addition to wine, Lamb’s is collecting bottles for that. Thanks in advance for helping stock our walls!
A HUGE Thank You to everyone who has already contributed! We are overwhelmed by and grateful for the tremendous support of this community! A special thank you to our event sponsors – Kendall Bergstrom, Director’s Mortgage, Wacom – We appreciate your support!
Volunteer from Home!
We are in need of someone to coordinate volunteers for various events and committees. This can be done from the comfort of your favorite chair on your computer and phone and will make a HUGE difference for our school! For more information, please contact Michelle Huntington.
Our Art Lit program is in jeopardy!
Because we don't have enough people volunteering, especially in 6th and 8th grades, this valuable program is in danger of disappearing this year! In the junior high school, Art Literacy is integrated into the Social Studies curriculum. Art Literacy lessons enhance the study of World and United States history by showing the kids the art that is relevant to historical time periods. http://lakeoswegoartliteracy.org
There is a volunteer/orientation coffee morning this Thursday Oct. 9th, 9:15a at Gretchen Hall's home for all 6th - 8th grade volunteers at 4123 Chad Drive (off Bryant). It will be an opportunity to see projects, learn schedules and enjoy tasty treats with other Lakeridge families. To RSVP, contact Gretchen at firstname.lastname@example.org.
It’s EASY, FUN and a great way to get into the classroom to see what your kiddo is up to! NO ART EXPERIENCE NECESSARY! You are given all the information you need in an easy-to-present format. PLEASE HELP US KEEP ART LIT ALIVE!
